ValleyKidsCare
Our Mission
Teaching Philosophy
Every child has talent and skills. In submission to God, these gifts will be excellent, providing a satisfying offering unto God. We at Valley Kids Care make it our mission to partner with parents and guardians to identify, encourage, and grow the gifts that God has given each child. The Bible says in Acts 7 that at Moses' birth he was beautiful in God’s sight. We believe that every child is beautiful in God’s sight and therefore we are obligated to instruct them according to His Word in love. Your child will experience a place where they are accepted, loved, taught, and corrected using the wisdom of God. Our Teachers are highly certified with at least 7 years of experience in public school classrooms. Not only is every teacher a believer in Christ and his resurrection, but they are also skilled professionals ready to service your child in love.

Children will get a chance to dress up, participate in science experiments, and enjoy splash days while learning about God and His promises for those who love Him. Full day and half day options are available for families. To see a summer calendar for details of the exciting summer fun please call or email us at  ValleyKidsCare@gmail.com.

Personalize interventions are available to children that need extra assistance in math and reading. If you are interesting in our after school program and/or tutoring services please call or email us at ValleyKidsCare@gmail.com.

Literacy

There is great research that supports the evidence of building a solid foundation in literacy. Literacy begins at birth and develops during a child's early years. This has an impact on a child’s success in school and overall life. Children from ages 18 months to school age will be provided with a reading comprehension program to develop their phonemic awareness, phonics skills, and vocabulary. We will focus on building listening, speaking, reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Social & Emotional

Children learn through relationship. Nurturing relationship  help children become secure, confident, curious,  and communicative people. These relationships help children learn  how to control their emotions and relate to others.

Physical Health

In our daily lessons, playtime and, all other interactions we strive to meet children's physical needs in the following developmental areas:

1. About me, my family, and culture

2. Building relationship

3. Touching, seeing, hearing, and moving around

4. Growing up healthy

5. Communicating

6. Learning about my world

Environment

We create a safe and welcoming learning community through use of relationship building tools and frequent assessing of emotional needs. During these unprecedented times we must encourage communication with our children to foster a healthy maturing mindset. We focus on implementing habits and routines that promote the growth of essential character traits. Children learn through all their senses, with that in mind we create high sensory lesson that engage them and enhance their recollection of learned concepts.

The At-Home Daycare Experience with the instructional focus of a learning center. Valley Kids Care creates opportunities for children to satisfy their developmental needs, as well as nurtures a love for learning and a confidence in Christ. It is our goal to implement a learning environment that encourages all children to feel safe to take academic risk which helps expand their understanding of new concepts. A cultural of safety is key to get our little ones thinking big.
